Text Box: and are now able to ski as recreational skiers.  Lessons will continue in January and these are open to all pupils in school regardless of whether they are part of the overseas visit.  
The pupils will record a video diary during their stay and we are very much looking forward to seeing and hearing about their adventure.

Text Box: Pupils and staff are looking forward to Gomersal Middle School’s first ever overseas visit.  At Easter approximately 30 pupils from Year 7 & 8 along with members of staff are traveling to Austria to spend the week skiing and snowboarding.   
Pupils have been making monthly visits to Xscape in Castleford, accompanied by Mr Vigus, who will lead the visit at Easter.  The pupils have had supervised lessons and as a result 14 have achieved level 4 competency Text Box: never     forget.  Should your child be interested in taking part in the visit there are still a     couple of places available.  Please contact Mr Vigus for further details.

The cards have been sent to other Headteachers and    Local Authority officers many of whom commented on the
